Pine Nut Road is a stock friendly spur trail off Mormon Well Road. Is is only about six miles long, and it is an in-and-out road. There are some camping sites near the end. Pine Nut Trail is a bit bumpy and runs on the east side of the Sheep Range. Pine Nut is just inside the Pinyon-Juniper Woodland zone, which means the campsites are shaded by Single-leaf Pinyon and Utah Juniper. The only possible issue may be the first wash crossing, which is sometimes a little rocky. Stock Jeeps should have no problem. The area is very secluded and rarely sees visitors. It is an excellent place to camp if you like to not be disturbed.
